Brady And Crew Take Care Of Business In Cleveland

doublefacepalm

Brady is back and looking like he never missed a game or practice as the Patriots ran over the Browns 30 to 13. Take that for what it is worth Vs. the Browns but it is still great. Brady was pumped up from the start of this one when he ran out of the tunnel and gave a huge fist pump to all of the Patriots fans in attendance. Brady would also show some excitement after he rushed for a first down in the third quarter and gave a huge first down sign as seen below. The crowd went into a frenzy after he did that.

You know your opening day performance was great when you were taken out of the game with just over 6 minutes to go in the fourth quarter with your team leading 33-13. Brady finished the day going 28-of-40 for 406 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Patriots got the scoring going early as Blount had an easy 1-yard rush to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead. But the Browns answered fast in what was their best drive of the day going down field and scoring to tie the game up.But from here on out it would be all Patriots.

Martellus Bennett played like an animal out there by catching not one, not two, but three touchdowns from Brady. Bennett had himself an afternoon to remember as he had 6 receptions for 67 yards with his 3 touchdowns.

The Patriots defense also came up big at times as they even managed to force a safety on a Cody Kessler aborted snap that went out of bounds in the end zone.

But there is something I am starting to notice and it does concern me a little not to much but it is something to watch for. Ever since the AFC Championship game last year Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski has not looked the same. He seems to be missing kicks he use to make.

Gostkowski missed a 50-yard field goal today that is a long field goal people mess up it’s fine. But I just have been noticing ever since that miss something just does not look right. He had a big miss Vs. the Dolphins in week 2. That was one he definitely should have made. I don’t feel this is too much of a big deal but is definitely something to watch for going forward.

All-and-all this was a great team win for the Patriots and it was awesome to see Brady back out on the field. The Patriots will now come back to Gillette and get ready to take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
