We are on to the Supreme Court. Yes, you heard that right the Brady Deflategate case will now have the option to go to the Supreme Court.

The Second Circuit court today announced that it has rejected Tom Brady’s request for an En Banc Rehearing.

“Appellees, National Football League Players Association and Tom Brady, filed a petition for panel rehearing, or, in the alternative, for rehearing en banc,” the form stated. “The panel that determined the appeal has considered the request for panel rehearing, and the active members of the Court have considered the request for rehearing en banc.

“IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition is denied.”

So what is next for Brady? Brady and crew will most likely now request a stay of suspension well his legal team works on a petition to submit to the Supreme Court. If the Second Circuit court denies the stay, they can file a similar request to the Supreme Court.

If the stay is granted Brady will not have to serve the suspension until the case is heard and ruled on. But if the Supreme Court rejects to hear the case that would most likely be the end of the road for Brady.

So will Jimmy Garoppolo be the Patriots starter for the first four games? It’s looking like it might just happen.
