NBA Playoffs Value Odds & Predictions

Let’s examine the latest NBA Championship odds for the remaining teams and the current NBA playoff picture while analyzing the latest storylines as Round 1 ends so we can predict the rest of the postseason.

The Cavaliers swept the Pacers after a hard-fought 106-102 road win on Sunday, becoming the first team to advance to the second round. It might have been a sweep but this series was a lot closer than people think, considering that all games were decided by six points or less.

The Warriors became the second team to eliminate their opponent after a convincing 128-103 road win over the Trail Blazers on Monday. The Warriors also earned a sweep in their first round series so it’s not surprising to see that these two teams are the two favorites to win the NBA Championship this season.

The Rockets advanced to Round 2 with a 105-99 win over the Thunder. Houston won the series 4-1 and they will take on the Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals.

The Raptors blew a 25-point lead but still managed to beat the Bucks 92-89 in Game 6 to reach the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Cavaliers. The best odds on NBA can be found at Sports Interaction review . Keep checking back with them because the Raptors-Cavaliers series price should be available soon.

The Spurs advanced to the Western Conference semifinals after a 103-96 win over the Grizzlies in Game 6 of their best-of-seven series. San Antonio will now face Houston in the second round.

Dark Horse Team To Win The NBA Championship

The Rockets offer great betting value at +1600 odds to win the NBA Championship because if they find a way to win consistently without relying too much on James Harden, they’re more than capable of being a dangerous team in the Western Conference.

Houston’s formula isn’t new, it resembles what Cleveland did when they surrounded LeBron James with shooters off the bench. Their plan is working so far and they could be a legitimate threat to the Warriors if both teams reach the Western Conference Finals. Golden State’s starting lineup is full of All-Stars but their reserves are not as strong as Houston’s bench.

NBA Finals Predictions

As for the NBA Finals, the Cavaliers are loaded and they’re playing at a high level, turning the switch at the right time. The Cavs will likely reach the NBA Finals and the Warriors are favored to win the Western Conference and clash with them. Both teams are on Round 2 and a potential third straight NBA Finals between them is a real possibility.

Here are our predictions for the first round series that haven’t finished:

Utah Jazz over Los Angeles Clippers, 4-3

Boston Celtics over Chicago Bulls, 4-2

Washington Wizards over Atlanta Hawks, 4-3
